Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Barfield (ranked 2097 p4p, 1575 weight class) and Hiya Pleb (ranked 233 p4p, 183 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Barfield moves in looking to clinch but Pleb pushes him off.

Pleb has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Barfield tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pleb sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Barfield somewhat.

Barfield shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pleb sprawls well. Pleb wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Barfield gets slowly back to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Barfield looking to sit in guard and control but Pleb gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Barfield is looking to cinch up a triangle. Pleb throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Barfield's body to avoid the submission. Barfield has instead reached around Pleb's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Barfield arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
