With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Colby Canvana! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Salazar connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. We've been told by Canvana's head coaches at Tran MMA Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Salazar is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Salazar lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Canvana is rocked! Salazar fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Oh Canvana is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Salazar scores with a hook to the body. Canvana takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Salazar is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Canvana. Canvana seems to have got his legs back now. Canvana walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Salazar swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Roy Salazar!
