Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Connor Stever (ranked 4021 p4p, 25213 weight class) and Kino Hatton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kino Hatton has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Connor Stever! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kino Hatton! The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Winston Howard and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stever is looking to clinch but Hatton is avoiding it.
Stever is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hatton sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Hatton tries to bum rush Stever with a series of wild strikes but Stever uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Hatton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stever moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Stever shoots in looking for a takedown but Hatton manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Stever's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Hatton leaves Stever with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Connor Stever. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stever dives in for a single leg takedown but Hatton sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Hatton as Stever tries to tie him up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stever is looking for a takedown. Stever pulls guard successfully.

Hatton regains half guard. Hatton wants to get back to his feet. Hatton is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Stever's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Stever's back! Hatton biding his time, controlling Stever. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Hatton's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Stever is trying desperately to improve position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hatton with a couple of short strikes. Stever has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Hatton's lack of action.
Stever is trying to stand up here but Hatton is controlling him well. Stever is in trouble now - Hatton has advanced to mount! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Stever wants to control but Hatton is having none of it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hatton looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kino Hatton dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Stever tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hatton throws a counter combo. Connor Stever seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hatton lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stever circles away quickly and effectively. Stever dodges the punch combination from Hatton.

Stever tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hatton paws at him with a jab and circles away. Stever shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Hatton connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stever shoots and misses and Hatton counters with a crisp one two that drops Stever! Hatton thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Stever to his feet! Stever is in big trouble!
Stever is rocked! Stever tries to clinch there but Hatton circles away.
Hatton is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Oh Stever is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Hatton misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hatton forces Stever back against the cage and clinches.

Hatton has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Stever looking for a takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Connor Stever. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hatton lands a takedown into guard.

Stever seems to have got his legs back now. Hatton lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Stever pulls Hatton in close to his closed guard and prevents Hatton from doing any damage or advancing position. Stever looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hatton postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Hatton stopping the sweep attempt from Stever.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Hatton throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Stever. Stever is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Hatton misses with a series of wild punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hatton lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Hatton misses with a few strikes there.
As Hatton looks to move away, Stever throws a big counter combo but Hatton just gets out of the way. Hatton swinging wildly here.
Connor Stever is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Stever looks to clinch and Hatton counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Great action here. Stever shoots in for a double leg but Hatton sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Stever is looking to clinch but Hatton is avoiding it.
Stever shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hatton but Hatton pushes him off and we're back to square one. No joy there for Hatton, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Kino Hatton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Stever tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Hatton manages to move to mount!

Stever preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Stever wants to control but Hatton is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hatton trying to control the action but Stever is working from the bottom. Stever is looking to improve his position.
Hatton wants to take a breather but Stever is having none of it. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Stever is doing well to control the position and prevent Hatton from advancing to side control. Stever wants to get back to full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
And that's the end of the fight! Kino Hatton comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hatton has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
