Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Minsoo Hyeok (ranked 4267 p4p, 24999 weight class) and Baki Hanma (ranked 365 p4p, 444 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Minsoo Hyeok!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Baki Hanma!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Ben Hemmingworth and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanma thows a left - swing and a miss!
Hanma doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Hyeok looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Hanma tries a low kick but Hyeok avoids it.
Hyeok slips a straight right by Hanma.
Hyeok was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Hyeok lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Baki Hanma has been cut.
Hyeok feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hanmas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
A looping hook to the body misses from Hanma. Hyeok does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hanma takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
No joy there for Hanma, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hyeok connects with a jab.
Hanma misses with a hook. Hyeok ducked under it nicely.
Hyeok appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Hanma digs a good body shot into Hyeok's ribs.

Hanma throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hyeok is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Hyeok ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Hanma swings widly with a right hand
letting Hyeok counter with a right hand.
A low kick lands for Hanma.
Hanma throws a lazy right hand but Hyeok sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hanma throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jab, jab by Hyeok - just one landing.
Hyeok steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hanma.
Hyeok cracks Hanma with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Hanma throws a poor cross that misses
and Hyeok cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Hanma is rocked!
Hanma gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Hyeok gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Hanma is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Minsoo Hyeok!
