And in the blue corner, fighting out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 16 wins and 15 losses; Marquis Chriss!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Chriss swings around for an armbar but Amosov sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Chriss's guard.

Our spies down at at 4 inform us that Chriss has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Chriss wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Chriss working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Amosov has passed into half guard!
Amosov is just content to waste time from the top position. Chriss takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Amosov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chriss has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Amosov has managed to get both his arms back between Chriss's legs - danger averted.
Amosov has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
