Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nickolas Benjamin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andrei Averyanov!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Paulo Santos and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice straight punches there by Averyanov. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Averyanov.
No joy there for Averyanov, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Averyanov misses with a hook. Benjamin ducked under it nicely.
Benjamin gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Averyanov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Averyanov scoring well with a low kick there.
Benjamin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Averyanov as he avoids it easily.
Benjamin takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Averyanov connects with the punch.
Benjamin has his takedown stuffed
and Averyanov counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nickolas Benjamin. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Averyanov counters with a nice body shot.
Benjamin is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Averyanov moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andrei Averyanov!
