Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Karson Massey (ranked 4160 p4p, 4017 weight class) and Beau Maddox (ranked 435 p4p, 418 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Massey moves into the clinch.
Massey will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Maddox up against the ropes.

Massey breaks from the clinch.
Maddox swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Massey closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Maddox wants to clinch but Massey slips to the side
and Massey counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Maddox tries to clinch up
and Massey counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Maddox moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Karson Massey has been cut.

Maddox moves in looking to clinch but Massey pushes him off.
Maddox scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Massey tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Maddox lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

That's one minute gone in the round.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Maddox crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Massey - the referee stops the clock and Maddox gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Massey. Maddox manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Maddox tries to circle away but Massey has him pinned against the ropes.

Massey wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Maddox has him pressed against the ropes.

Maddox wants to clinch up but Massey keeps it at a distance.
Massey misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Massey swats away the attempt to clinch by Maddox.
Massey throws a sloppy head kick and Maddox moves out of range easily.
Massey lands a leg kick that knocks Maddox off balance momentarily.
Maddox throws a leg kick but Massey checks it.

Maddox pushes Massey up against the ropes in a clinch.

Maddox's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Massey avoids the head kick by Maddox.
