Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Huang (ranked 3360 p4p, 3895 weight class) and Sullivan Gross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gross has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Sullivan Gross looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sullivan Gross!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Summer Carpenter and Ben Hemmingworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gross shoots and misses
and Huang counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Gross looks winded!
Gross shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Huang as he jumps to the side.
Gross just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromHuang.

and Huang counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Brandon Huang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sullivan Gross.
Gross wants to clinch but Huang slips to the side
letting Huang counter with a right hand.
Huang checks a leg kick.
Huang fires out a quick counter leg kick but Gross just manages to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gross has his takedown stuffed
and Huang counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Sullivan Gross has been cut.
Gross misses with a takedown attempt
and Huang counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gross moves to clinch but Huang breaks away
and Huang counters with a huge left! Gross is in big trouble! He's backing up but Huang isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Gross from any more damage. A dominating finish by Huang!
