Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Silverhand (ranked 4453 p4p, 3323 weight class) and Darius Nunez (ranked 461 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Johnny Silverhand!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Darius Nunez!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nunez moves into range and connects with a jab.
Silverhand shoots and misses
and Nunez counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Nunez pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Nunez looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Nunez throws an overhand right that lands on Silverhand's shoulder, as Silverhand tries to avoid the shot.
Silverhand has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Nunez finds it's way round the side to connect with Silverhand's head.
Nunez misses with an uppercut
and Silverhand counters with a nice body kick.
Nunez looks to throw the jab but Silverhand is out of range.
Nunez ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Silverhand throws a head kick that misses
and Nunez counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Nunez throws a jab but it's blocked by Silverhand.
Silverhand uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Nunez.
An attempted straight right counter from Silverhand misses the target.
Silverhand will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Silverhand looks to throw a body kick
and Nunez counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Silverhand bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Nunez is looking to get back to his feet here but Silverhand is keeping cool and he's managed to take Nunez's back.
Silverhand is breathing heavily.

Nunez is trying to stand back up.
You can see the frustration on Nunez's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Silverhand is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Nunez is defending well though. Silverhand let's go of the attempt for now.
Nunez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silverhand. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Silverhand controlling the position well here. Nunez rolled but Silverhand kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Nunez is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Nunez just trying to survive but Silverhand is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Nunez wants to get back to his feet.

Silverhand lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Silverhand.

Nunez trying to control the position but Silverhand manages to sink in the hooks.
Nunez is trying to stand back up.
Nunez tries to roll but Silverhand sticks to his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nunez is keeping busy.
Nunez can't escape the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Nunez is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Silverhand misses with an elbow to the head.

A close round but Darius Nunez will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Silverhand drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

and Nunez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Silverhand throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Nunez's head.

Nunez drops Silverhand with a beautiful combination! Silverhand stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Nunez is looking for the KO!

It looks like Johnny Silverhand has been cut.
Silverhand shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Nunez counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Silverhand is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Silverhand gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Nunez points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Silverhand wakes up just in time to hear Nunez thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
