Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Daton Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Greg Gaggenwanker! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams tries for a takedown but Gaggenwanker sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Williams moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Williams has closed the distance and engaged Gaggenwanker in a clinch.
Gaggenwanker throws a head punch that misses. Williams blocking some punches.
Williams lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Williams successfully pulls guard.
Gaggenwanker drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Gaggenwanker seems to have locked his on tight now - Williams screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Gaggenwanker, as he picks up the win!
