This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of St Petersburg, with a TWGC record of 14 wins and 32 losses; Nate Pawn! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 104 wins and 45 losses; Pacer Dalton!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Pawn drives through and clinches with Dalton against the ropes.
Pawn tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Dalton smiles and moves away.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Dalton has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Dalton might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
