Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Augusti Americo (ranked 4132 p4p, 3953 weight class) and Dojo Disciple (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Disciple fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Americo, pushing him back against the cage.

Disciple trying to control the position but instead, Americo has worked for underhooks and has pushed Disciple into the cage.
Americo is pushing Disciple up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Disciple bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Americo's guard.

Disciple has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Americo is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Disciple.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Americo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
