Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Higanti Libat (ranked 23352 p4p, 23576 weight class) and Wala Sapi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wala Sapi is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 43 - 65 - 6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Higanti Libat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 55 - 50 - 10, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wala Sapi!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Sapi gets caught napping as Libat dives in and scores a takedown. Sapi manages to retain guard.
Libat won't allow Sapi to sweep him here.
Sapi is controlling Libat's posture.
Libat's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Sapi has control of Libat's left arm, preventing Libat from doing any damage.
Let's hope that Sapi has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sapi can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Libat controls the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Libat shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sapi but Sapi pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Sapi leaves Libat with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
And Sapi responds with a good body kick, but Libat manages to step out the way in time.

Libat tried to counter with a leg kick but Sapi avoided it.

Libat shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sapi is trying to defend but Libat finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Libat tries to counter with a takedown but Sapi is quick to defend against it.
Libat shoots in for a double leg but Sapi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Libat moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromSapi.

Sapi counters with a body kick.

Sapi shoots in for a takedown but Libat shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Libat jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.

Sapi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Libat tries to avoid it but Sapi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Libat to the ground. Libat escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Libat closes the distance and clinches up with Sapi, looking for a takedown. Libat pushes Sapi against the cage but Sapi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Libat shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Libat is positioning himself well to prevent Sapi advancing to mount.
Sapi is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Sapi throwing shots but Libat is blocking nicely.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Wala Sapi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Sapi closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Libat did well to prevent Sapi getting side control.
Sapi takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Sapi.

Sapi is thwarting Libat's attempts to control the position.
Libat is looking to improve his position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Libat keeps control of the position for the meantime.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sapi is defended easily by Libat.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Libat.
Sapi is looking for the big counter here.

Wala Sapi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Sapi has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
