Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matto Kaveri (ranked 3220 p4p, 3206 weight class) and Rudo Ryokale (ranked 184 p4p, 182 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matto Kaveri! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rudo Ryokale! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kaveri throws a jab but it's blocked by Ryokale. Kaveri misses with a straight left. Ryokale shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Kaveri swings widly with a right hand
and Ryokale counters with a lovely shot to the body. Ryokale walks into a jab. Kaveri thows a left - swing and a miss! Ryokale connects with a leg kick. Kaveri looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Kaveri swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ryokale counters with a nice low kick that buckles Kaveri's knee momentarily. Kaveri throws a looping overhand right but Ryokale ducks down to avoid it. Ryokale uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kaveri. Ryokale throws a big counter head kick but Kaveri avoids it with no problem. Kaveri misses with a hook. Ryokale ducked under it nicely. Ryokale dodges the punch combination from Kaveri.
Ryokale checks a leg kick nicely. Good shot there by Kaveri. Kaveri throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Ryokale counters with a leg kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kaveri takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
That's one minute gone in the round. A good leg kick by Ryokale. Ryokale misses with a body kick. Kaveri misses the jab. Kaveri misses with a wild combination.

Matto Kaveri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. No joy there for Kaveri, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ryokale moves out of range as Kaveri strikes. Donk. Ryokale catches Kaveri right on the button with a cross. Kaveri swings widly with a right hand
and Ryokale counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Ryokale scores with a push kick. Kaveri is breathing heavily. Ryokale defending well as Kaveri loads up on a big left hand. Ryokale pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kaveri is looking to counter punch. Kaveri is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ryokale.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kaveri swats away the attempt to clinch by Ryokale. It looked like Kaveri wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Kaveri throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ryokale bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Kaveri pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Kaveri throws an off balance right hand
and Ryokale counters with a right hand to the body. Kaveri looks to score with a jab to the body but Ryokale is just out of range. Ryokale delivers a nice body kick. Ryokale lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Ryokale lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Kaveri on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
The crowd cheers as Ryokale lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kaveri doesn't seem phased though.
It looks like Matto Kaveri has been cut. Rudo Ryokale is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Ryokale misses with a head kick.
Ryokale moves into the clinch successfully.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Ryokale with an attempt at a knee that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kaveri has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Kaveri is trying to break the clinch but Ryokale is controlling him. Ryokale stalls. Kaveri has picked Ryokale up - he's going for a ride! Kaveri dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kaveri throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Ryokale works his way to full guard. Good work. Ryokale keeping full guard, as Kaveri tries to pass. Ryokale working for a triangle but Kaveri defends it easily.
Kaveri throws a strike but Ryokale rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Ryokale slips nicely into half guard. Ryokale is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kaveri sees it coming and defends easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ryokale lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Ryokale is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ryokale landing strikes, looking to finish! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ryokale looking to control but Kaveri is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Ryokale lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Ryokale in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Kaveri is squirming around, avoiding Ryokale's attempts to control the action. Kaveri is desperately trying to improve his position but Ryokale has a good base and remains in mount. Ryokale looking to control but Kaveri is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Ryokale landing strikes from the mount.
Matto Kaveri's cut is getting worse. Kaveri regains half guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Rudo Ryokale dominated that round. The cut man is working on Matto Kaveri's cut. That's time! Back to the action! Kaveri throws a hook but Ryokale blocks it. Kaveri misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Ryokale slips a jab from Kaveri. Kaveri stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ryokale. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ryokale slips a straight right by Kaveri. Ryokale fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Kaveri missing with a left hand there. Ryokale was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Ryokale misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Kaveri looks to land a combination but Ryokale avoids it well. Rudo Ryokale seems to be getting the better of the standup. Ryokale moves out of range of the strikes. Ryokale fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Ryokale is looking to clinch but Kaveri is avoiding it.

Some wild striking there from Kaveri.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kaveri looks to throw the jab but Ryokale is out of range. Kaveri throws a sloppy head kick and Ryokale moves out of range easily. Ryokale scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Kaveri is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Kaveri throws a sloppy head kick and Ryokale counters with a nice uppercut.
Jeez, Matto Kaveri's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ryokale slips under a jab. Ryokale scores with a sloppy right hand. Kaveri should have avoided that one.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Matto Kaveri's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
