Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 36 - 56 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fedor Mazepin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 16 - 79 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Mariusz Pudzianowski! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Chad Campbell and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pudzianowski is looking to score with low kicks. Pudzianowski tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Pudzianowski misses with a low kick.
Mazepin went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Pudzianowski throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Mazepin shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pudzianowski sprawls well. Pudzianowski wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mazepin gets slowly back to his feet. As Pudzianowski looks to move away, Mazepin throws a big counter combo but Pudzianowski just gets out of the way. Mazepin shoots in looking for a takedown. Pudzianowski tries to sprawl out of it but Mazepin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pudzianowski manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fedor Mazepin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mazepin checks a leg kick nicely. Mazepin throws a big counter combination but Pudzianowski scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Pudzianowski wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Pudzianowski is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mazepin working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Pudzianowski pushes Mazepin away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Mazepin gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Pudzianowski is trying to get back to half guard.

Mazepin has hold of Pudzianowski's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Pudzianowski seems comfortable defending it but Mazepin has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Pudzianowski is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Pudzianowski is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Mazepin couldn't care less - he's delighted!
