Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Zenon Rojek!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Rojek does no damage.
Rojek throws a right and a left that Karushiyaki avoids nicely.
Rojek throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rojek takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Karushiyaki throws a combination that misses
and Rojek counters with a three punch combo that has Karushiyaki backing up. Karushiyaki nods at Rojek to acknowledge the strikes.

Karushiyaki throws the left hand but Rojek avoids the punch easily.
Karushiyaki throws a left and a right that both miss
and Rojek counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Rojek throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rojek throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Karushiyaki counters with a series of strikes. Rojek will be more careful next time no doubt.
A right-left combo lands from Rojek.
Rojek throws a left and a right that both miss
and Karushiyaki counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Rojek is trying to break free.
Rojek looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Rojek escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rojek gets caught flat footed, as Karushiyaki shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Karushiyaki wants to control from the top but Rojek keeps moving.
Rojek is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Karushiyaki is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Karushiyaki is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rojek wants to improve his position here. There's a bit of a scramble and Karushiyaki has taken Rojek's back! He's locked on a rear naked choke here and Rojek has been forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Sento Karushiyaki!
