Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Edgar Allen (ranked 4054 p4p, 3965 weight class) and Clayton Bigsby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Clayton Bigsby!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bigsby gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Bigsby takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Bigsby tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Allen counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Allen keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bigsby takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Bigsby rushes Allen and presses him up against the cage.
Bigsby tries for a takedown but Allen manages to get underhooks.
Bigsby is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Allen is trying to force a seperation but Bigsby has the dominant position.

Bigsby closes the distance and pushes Allen back into the cage.
Allen tries to circle away but Bigsby has him pinned against the cage.
Bigsby drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Allen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bigsby wants to clinch up but Allen keeps it at a distance.
Allen seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Bigsby fails with the takedown
and Allen counters with a nice uppercut.

Bigsby drives through and clinches with Allen against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Bigsby fails to land.
Allen is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Allen has had enough of the clinch but Bigsby keeps him there for the moment.
Bigsby tries for a takedown. No joy.

Bigsby is trying to drag Allen to the mat but Allen just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Bigsby shoots in for a takedown but Allen shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
It looked like Allen wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Bigsby moves into the clinch successfully.
Allen tries to break free but Bigsby pushes him back against the cage.
Allen tries to circle away but Bigsby has him pinned against the cage.
Bigsby is looking to take this one to the mat.
Allen has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Bigsby is looking for a takedown.
Allen is trying to break the clinch but Bigsby has him pressed against the cage.
Allen is pressed up against the cage. Bigsby has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Allen down to the mat. Allen avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Bigsby throws a sloppy head kick
enabling Allen to counter with a crisp jab.

Bigsby tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
It looked like Allen was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Bigsby.
Bigsby throws a sloppy head kick
letting Allen counter with a right hand.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Edgar Allen dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Allen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Allen counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Bigsby looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

letting Allen counter with a right hand.

A low kick from Bigsby misses
and Allen counters with a crisp right that sends Bigsby to the canvas! Allen follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
