Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Barret Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Turner has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Barret Wallace! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Turner! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wallace misses with a double jab.
Turner looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wallace is fending him off so far but Turner persists. Nope, Wallace circles away and we're back to standing. Wallace tries to bum rush Turner with a series of wild strikes but Turner uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Wallace swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wallace fails to land with a series of punches.
Wallace throws a right and a left that Turner avoids nicely. Turner shoots in looking for a takedown. Wallace tries to sprawl out of it but Turner keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wallace manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Turner looks gassed! Wallace swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wallace misses with a wild combination.
Wallace throws a series of punches but Turner avoids them all with ease. Turner has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Turner there as he acknowledges the shot.
It looks like James Turner has been cut. Barret Wallace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Turner shoots in but Wallace avoids the takedown attempt easily. Barret Wallace has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Turner. Turner takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Wallace throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Turner. Turner is looking to clinch but Wallace is avoiding it.
A combination from Wallace does no damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wallace throws a series of punches but Turner avoids them all with ease. Wallace lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Turner circles away quickly and effectively. Wallace feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Turner crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Barret Wallace!
