The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ubereem takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Wife throws the left hand but Ubereem avoids the punch easily.
Ubereem displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wife throws out the jab.
Wife lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Alistair Ubereem has been cut.
Ubereem keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Wife.
Wife looks to score with a jab to the body but Ubereem is just out of range.
Wife jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Ubereem takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Wife slips under a jab.
Wife throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wife lands a jab to the nose.
Wife walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Ubereem drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Wife swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Ubereem's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Third Wife!
After the fight, Third Wife was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
