Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sig Freud (ranked 24768 p4p, 24513 weight class) and Jerimiah Nova (ranked 427 p4p, 418 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nova shoots in for a takedown but Freud shows good takedown defense.
Freud looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Freud keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Nova has his takedown stuffed
and Freud cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Sig Freud has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jerimiah Nova.
Freud stuffs the takedown attempt from Nova. Nova gets slowly back to his feet.
Freud misses with a hook. Nova ducked under it nicely.
Nova dives in for a single leg takedown but Freud sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Freud is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Nova's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Nova's back!
Nova is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
