Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stephan Bonnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Cack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stephan Bonnar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Daniel Cack!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Dean Styles and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonnar clobbers Cack with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Bonnar is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cack sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Cack stuffs the takedown attempt from Bonnar. Bonnar gets slowly back to his feet.
Cack should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Bonnar tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cack sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bonnar somewhat.

Cack utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Bonnar tries to free his leg and advance position but Cack is retaining full guard.
Cack is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Cack scoring well with a low kick there.

Bonnar throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cack was covering up waiting for the punch and Bonnar finishes the takedown easily into guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Cack holds on and takes a little breather.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bonnar wants to pass the guard but Cack is keeping the position.

Cack shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Cack does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Cack lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bonnar has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bonnar and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Bonnar shoots in looking for a takedown. Cack tries to sprawl out of it but Bonnar keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cack manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Cack throws and low kick but Bonnar moves out of range easily.

Daniel Cack showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Cack wants to clinch up but Bonnar keeps it at a distance.

Bonnar is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Cack's half guard.

Cack might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Bonnar kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Cack is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Cack seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Bonnar has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Cack is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Cack controls Bonnar momentarily but Bonnar frees himself.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Bonnar closes the distance but Cack moves to the side

and Cack holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Bonnar drops down looking for an ankle pick but Cack pulls his leg out and moves away.
Bonnar tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

and Cack counters with a leg kick.

Bonnar throws a nice looking combination but Cack bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

I think Cack has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
