Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Grant Gunterson (ranked 3609 p4p, 3181 weight class) and Puenglong Sitsongrit (ranked 208 p4p, 188 weight class). Grant Gunterson had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 136.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Puenglong Sitsongrit!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Steve Erwin and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunterson tries to bum rush Sitsongrit with a series of wild strikes but Sitsongrit uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gunterson is defended easily by Sitsongrit.
Gunterson tries to close the distance and clinch but Sitsongrit swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Gunterson on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Gunterson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Sitsongrit counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Grant Gunterson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sitsongrit lands a nice hook to Gunterson's body. Gunterson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Gunterson is breathing heavily.
Gunterson throws a right and a left that Sitsongrit avoids nicely.
Sitsongrit looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Sitsongrit looks to land a left hand but Gunterson moved out of range nicely.
Sitsongrit digs a good hook to Gunterson's body.
Sitsongrit throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Sitsongrit throws a quick inside leg kick.
A slow jab from Sitsongrit misses its intended target.
A punch lands to the side of Gunterson 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Gunterson is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sitsongrit dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Gunterson. That did some damage!
Oh Gunterson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sitsongrit connects with an inside leg kick.
Gunterson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Gunterson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A big left from Sitsongrit misses.
Sitsongrit throws a hook to the side of Gunterson's head but Gunterson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Gunterson seems to have got his legs back now.

Gunterson misses with the combination.
Sitsongrit dodges the punch combination from Gunterson.
Some bone on bone action there as Sitsongrit checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
A nice inside leg kick there by Sitsongrit. That's going to slow Gunterson down.
Sitsongrit misses with a straight right.
Gunterson drops down looking for a counter takedown but Sitsongrit sprawls and moves away.
Sitsongrit connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Gunterson throws a nice looking combination but Sitsongrit bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sitsongrit looks to land a right hand but Gunterson moved out of range.
Sitsongrit is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gunterson.
Gunterson moves out of range as Sitsongrit strikes.
Sitsongrit moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Sitsongrit throws a nice inside leg kick.
Puenglong Sitsongrit is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sitsongrit throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gunterson on the side of the head.
Gunterson tries for a takedown but Sitsongrit sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sitsongrit misses with a hook. Gunterson ducked under it nicely.
Gunterson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gunterson looks up at the clock. Bad move! Sitsongrit lands a right hand from hell, dropping Gunterson. Sitsongrit pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
