The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivera avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Nice defenses there by Rivera.
Haggar misses with an uppercut.
Haggar takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Haggar pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Haggar rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Rivera counters with a two punch combo.
A telegraphed right hand from Rivera misses the target.
Haggar lands a jab to the nose.
Rivera tries to move into range but Haggar moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Good standup being displayed there by Haggar as he connects with a hook.
Haggar throws the kick towards the body but Rivera avoids it.
Haggar lands with an overhand left.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Haggar misses with a hook to the body
and Haggar takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Rivera darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Rivera needs to keep his hands up - Haggar had a free shot at his head there.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rivera goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Haggar shoots and misses
and Rivera counters with a massive head kick! KABOOM! Haggar is out cold! A devastating KO!
