The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tama closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Pierre 's guard.
Tama lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tama accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Tama has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Tama stays in close to Pierre 's body and controls the position.
Tama passes into half guard.
Tama works his way into side control.
Tama is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Pierre looks calm but he's in trouble here. Tama gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Pierre is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Tama lets go of the hold and Pierre can pop his arm back in it's socket.
