Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Miranda (ranked 1219 p4p, 1191 weight class) and Kareem Johnson (ranked 172 p4p, 168 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bruno Miranda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 17 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kareem Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Luis Engracia and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson throws the kick towards the body but Miranda avoids it.

Johnson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Johnson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

That was a close round but I would say that Bruno Miranda will probably get the nod.
