Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Barry Parrish (ranked 1923 p4p, 2209 weight class) and Zeke Hester (ranked 188 p4p, 208 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Barry Parrish!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zeke Hester!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parrish throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hester moves away from the strike by Parrish.
Parrish looks to land a right hand but Hester moved out of range.
Hester shoots in but Parrish avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hester misses with a takedown attempt
and Parrish counters with a stiff right hand.
Hester tries to clinch there but Parrish circles away.

A looping hook to the body misses from Parrish. Hester does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hester shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Barry Parrish has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zeke Hester.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hester throws a fast counter high kick but Parrish manages to duck under it in time.

Hester shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Parrish but Parrish pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Hester shoots in looking for a takedown. Parrish tries to sprawl out of it but Hester keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Parrish manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Parrish counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hester closes the distance and clinches up with Parrish, looking for a takedown. Hester pushes Parrish against the cage but Parrish circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Parrish slaps away a takedown attempt from Hester, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Zeke Hester seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hester walks into a left hand.
It looks like Zeke Hester has been cut.
Hester looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Hester will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Hester slips under a jab.
Hester lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Nice takedown defense from Parrish. No joy for Hester on that attempt.

and Parrish connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hester is rocked!

Parrish scores with a punch to the head.
Hester is still on wobbly legs! Can Parrish finish him?
Parrish lands with a nice body punch.
Nice takedown defense from Parrish. No joy for Hester on that attempt.
Parrish definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Parrish pounces like a tiger and cracks Hester with a vicious hook! Hester is down but not out! Parrish follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

In his post fight interview, Barry Parrish started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
