Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zeke Acacia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eemeli Wallensman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Zeke Acacia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Eemeli Wallensman! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Konstantin Menshow and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wallensman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Acacia as he avoids it easily. Wallensman fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Acacia scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Wallensman misses with the combination.
Horrible takedown by Wallensman or perhaps it was just good defense by Acacia which made him look bad. Zeke Acacia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eemeli Wallensman. Wallensman tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Acacia swivels and escapes. Acacia shoots in and bounces Wallensman off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Wallensman throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Wallensman wants to sweep here but Acacia controlling him for the moment. Wallensman striking off his back but it's not causing Acacia any problems. Wallensman has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Wallensman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wallensman lands a decent shot there. Wallensman wants to sweep but no luck. Acacia has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Wallensman gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Acacia makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Wallensman really felt that one! Wallensman looks gassed! Acacia wants to sweep here but Wallensman controlling him for the moment. Wallensman passes Acacia's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Acacia on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Acacia tries to get out of the position. Acacia is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Wallensman scores with a couple of nice shots. Acacia really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Wallensman lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Acacia hang on? Acacia tries to lock up and control but Wallensman gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Acacia takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Zeke Acacia will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Wallensman has his takedown stuffed so Acacia counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Acacia slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Wallensman throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Acacia trying to control the position from guard on top but Wallensman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. That's going to take a lot out of Eemeli Wallensman. Good leg kick by Acacia there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
