Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 22963 p4p, 5662 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 20 - 130 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 123 - 27 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fighter A tries for a takedown but Fighter B sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Fighter B thinks about the counter body kick. Fighter A looks for a takedown but Fighter B sprawls well. Fighter B feints the counter takedown. Fighter B blocks the body kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fighter A sprawls well initially but Fighter B persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Fighter A wants to get back to full guard. Fighter B is taking a breather. Fighter A says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Fighter B takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. It looks like Fighter B might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fighter A fails with the takedown and Fighter B finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fighter A changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fighter B looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Fighter B regains half guard. Fighter A looking for a submission but Fighter B manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A postures up in Fighter B's guard and throws a big left but Fighter B blocks it. Fighter A with a nice head shot there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fighter B seems keen to control Fighter A's posture. Fighter A missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Fighter A with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Fighter B has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Fighter A won't allow Fighter B to get back to his feet. Fighter A throws a big elbow that misses. Fighter B preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A trying to control but Fighter B is working from the bottom.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Fighter B slaps away a takedown attempt from Fighter A, before circling back to the center of the mat. Fighter B steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Xxx Xxx will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Fighter A fails with a takedown attempt. A momentary lapse in concentration from Fighter B enables Fighter A to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fighter B manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A throws a big right hand that misses. Fighter B preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Fighter A throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A is fighting to break Fighter B's control of his arms but Fighter B is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Fighter B is continuing to stall. Fighter A postures up in Fighter B's guard and throws a big left but Fighter B blocks it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Fighter A tries to land a front kick but Fighter B steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Fighter B steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Horrible takedown attempt by Fighter A or perhaps it was just good defense by Fighter B, which made it look bad. Fighter B shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fighter A manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Fighter A uses the cage to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A throws a body kick that misses and Fighter B counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Fighter A shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fighter B defends it nicely. Fighter B thinks about the counter body kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fighter B jabs at Fighter A's body. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Fighter A shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fighter B as he avoids it easily. Fighter B throws a big counter head kick but Fighter A avoids it with no problem. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A drives through with a takedown into Fighter B's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Fighter B pulls Fighter A in close to prevent any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Fighter B holds on and takes a little breather. Fighter A throwing strikes from guard but Fighter B blocks nicely. Fighter A trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Fighter A throws a strike but Fighter B rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Fighter B slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Fighter B's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Fighter B postures up in Fighter A's guard and throws a big left but Fighter A blocks it. Fighter B sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B wants to pass the guard but Fighter A is keeping the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fighter B shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Fighter A is trying to defend but Fighter B finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Fighter B in particular looking to stall.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fighter B thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Fighter B controlling the action here.
And that's the end of the fight! Xxx Xxx comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Fighter B has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
