Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daton Williams (ranked 24618 p4p, 3994 weight class) and Jeremy WonderMan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Daton Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeremy WonderMan! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! WonderMan moves forwards but Williams connects with a nice, crisp jab. Williams forces WonderMan back against the cage and clinches. WonderMan breaks the clinch.
WonderMan throws a sloppy head kick and Williams moves out of range easily. WonderMan throws a wild combination but nothing lands. WonderMan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Williams fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. WonderMan sprawls well initially but Williams persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Williams controlling the action here. WonderMan keeps control of the position for the meantime. Williams is looking to advance position but WonderMan won't allow it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. WonderMan is looking to improve his position.
Williams content to control rather than advance. Williams is looking for a kimura but WonderMan is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Williams to get the leverage. WonderMan wants to improve his position but Williams is controlling well.
WonderMan regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. WonderMan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Williams defends well. WonderMan is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Williams is aware though and is defending well. Williams wanted to stand there but WonderMan had control of the position. WonderMan looking to hit a scissor sweep but Williams is one step ahead there. WonderMan not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams trying to control the position from guard on top but WonderMan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Williams shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Williams was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! WonderMan trying his best to control but Williams has mounted him. WonderMan in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. WonderMan tries to hold on but Williams pushes him away. WonderMan has given up his back here.
Williams has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. WonderMan trying to control the hands but Williams breaks the grip.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Williams controlling well, preventing WonderMan from escaping the position.
Williams connects with a big shot to the side of WonderMan's head.
Williams is looking for a rear naked choke here but WonderMan reverses the position brilliantly into Williams's guard!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Williams is trying to control the position but WonderMan postures up. Williams is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. WonderMan trying to control the position from guard on top but Williams is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. WonderMan looking to sit in guard and control but Williams gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Daton Williams dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
WonderMan moves into the clinch. WonderMan tries to break the clinch but Williams is controlling the position. Williams is trying to force a seperation but WonderMan has the dominant position. Williams tries to pull guard but WonderMan won't allow it.
WonderMan tries to land a knee to the head but Williams blocks with his arms.
Williams wants to break the clinch but can't.
WonderMan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Williams has WonderMan up against the cage in a clinch.
Williams jumps guard but WonderMan stands there with Williams around his waist. Williams gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. WonderMan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. WonderMan lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Daton Williams has been cut. WonderMan lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
That's one minute gone in the round. WonderMan throws a nice head kick!
WonderMan leaves Williams with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daton Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him. WonderMan lands a big head kick that sends Williams tumbling to the mat! WonderMan takes a step backwards and waves Williams back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Williams is rocked! WonderMan rushes Williams and presses him up against the cage. Oh Williams is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Both guys are working to get underhooks. Williams tries to stall but WonderMan uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
WonderMan has been the more effective fighter overall so far. WonderMan breaks from the clinch.
WonderMan clinches up with Williams and pushes him back against the cage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! WonderMan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. WonderMan drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Williams's head, knocking him out cold! WonderMan is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jeremy WonderMan!
