Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Isopaa Hunter (ranked 152 p4p, 385 weight class) and Jayilton Almeda (ranked 21 p4p, 49 weight class). Almeda is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Anota Aí - MC Lipi. Jayilton Almeda has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Isopaa Hunter's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 15 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Isopaa Hunter! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Jayilton Almeda! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Almeda takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. A head kick by Almeda misses and Hunter counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Almeda thinking. Almeda feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Almeda throws a big elbow that misses. Almeda has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Almeda throws a strike but Hunter rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Hunter being controlled here momentarily. Hunter trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Almeda looking for a sweep. Not yet Almeda, not yet. Hunter has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Hunter content to stall in guard here. Almeda has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hunter can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Almeda trying to control the position here. Hunter stopping the sweep attempt from Almeda. Almeda keeps trying to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Almeda wants to hit a sweep here but Hunter passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Almeda there! Hunter looking to control and managing it successfully. Hunter has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Almeda keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunter sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Almeda is trying to escape the mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Almeda can't escape the position.
Almeda tries to lock up and control but Hunter gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Almeda is working to get back to half guard.
Hunter content just to control the position here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Isopaa Hunter dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Almeda doesn't succeed with the takedown and Hunter counters with a straight right hand. Hunter lands with a hook. Almeda tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Hunter here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Almeda with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hunter to score with a decent uppercut. Almeda fails with the takedown. Almeda misses with a hook
and Hunter counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Hunter feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Almeda sprawling to the canvas! Almeda rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Hunter finish him?!
Almeda is rocked!
It looks like Jayilton Almeda has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Almeda misses with a takedown and Hunter counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Isopaa Hunter! Isopaa Hunter retains his heavyweight title! Isopaa Hunter took to the microphone after his victory and thanked his sponsors, KOMBAT KLOTHING for their support in the buildup to the fight.
