Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Debt Metal!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, David Schapiro and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Metal scores with a hook to the body. Barrett takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Metal shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Barrett as he avoids it easily.
Barrett changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Metal misses with a body shot.
Barrett uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Metal.
Metal misses with a straight left.
Barrett half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
A jab from Metal finds it's way through Barrett's defenses.
Metal bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Barrett's head backwards.
Metal rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Barrett decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Metal's guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Metal manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Metal is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Barrett can't fight it off and eventually Metal manages to take the fight to the floor. Barrett looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Metal controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Metal slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Metal's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Metal is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Metal's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
More stalling from Metal.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Metal paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Metal looks to score with a jab to the body but Barrett is just out of range.
Barrett tries to counter with a takedown but Metal is quick to defend against it.
Metal is trying hard to land a takedown here. Barrett sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Metal fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Barrett sprawls well initially but Metal persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Metal seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Barrett is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Metal scores with a couple of nice shots.
Well, if Metal is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza Yum. Can't wait.
Metal winds up and cracks Barrett with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Barrett on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Barrett tries to get out of the position.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Metal is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Metal seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Metal is nestled in close to Barrett, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Barrett is bucking up trying to escape but Metal cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A big strike lands for Metal! That's really hurt Barrett and he's turned his back - Metal keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Metal jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Debt Metal!
