Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronaldez Reno!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Light Yagami!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yagami takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Reno just misses with a punch to the body.
Yagami has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Reno throws a big shot that misses.
A countering left hand to the body from Yagami misses.
A punch combination from Yagami misses.
Yagami misses with a few strikes there.
Yagami connects with a jab.
Reno fails with a takedown attempt.
Reno lands a head shot.
Nice uppercut lands for Yagami. That snapped Reno's head back.
Yagami is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nice shot lands for Reno.
Reno throws a leg kick but Yagami moved away.
Yagami misses with a body shot.
Reno half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Reno looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Reno changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Reno shoots in for a takedown but Yagami shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ronaldez Reno. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Yagami throws a combination. Reno tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Nice sprawl there from Yagami as Reno shoots in.
Yagami scores with a one two! Reno had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Reno uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Yagami.
Light Yagami is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Yagami looks winded!
A big right from Reno misses.
Yagami stuffs the takedown.
Jab, jab by Reno - just one landing.
Reno throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nice straight punches there by Yagami. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Yagami.
Reno feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Yagamis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Some wild striking there from Reno.
Reno swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Reno fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Yagami to the ground. Reno is now in Yagami's guard.

Yagami has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Reno has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Reno is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Yagami is defending well.

Yagami escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Reno takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Jab, jab by Reno - just one landing.
Reno looks to land a right hand but Yagami moved out of range.
Despite the aggression on Yagami's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Reno lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Yagami has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Yagami and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Yagami fails to land with a series of punches.
Reno changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Yagami tries to avoid it but Reno manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Yagami to the ground. Yagami escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Yagami tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Reno was well out of range. Poor timing from Yagami.
Yagami throws a shot to the body.

Reno bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Yagami tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Yagami really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Reno. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Yagami won't enjoy being in this position. Reno looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Yagami is tapping - it's over boys! Reno picks up the submission victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Ronaldez Reno!
