Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between David Budiman (ranked 4429 p4p, 4528 weight class) and Kim Kallstrom (ranked 383 p4p, 388 weight class). David Budiman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, David Budiman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kim Kallstrom! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kallstrom lands a slapping body shot.
Budiman drives through and clinches with Kallstrom against the cage.

Budiman tries to pull guard but Kallstrom won't allow it.
Budiman throws a knee to the head but misses.
Come on Budiman - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Kallstrom looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Kallstrom is trying to break free. Budiman pressing his opponent against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Budiman jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kallstrom walks away with a smile on his face. Budiman gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Budiman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kallstrom tries to keep at a distance but Budiman has taken the fight into the clinch. Budiman throws a head punch that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kallstrom tries to break free but Budiman pushes him back against the cage. Kallstrom is trying to push Budiman away but Budiman has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Kallstrom gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Budiman.
Budiman tries to land knees in the clinch but Kallstrom avoids the damage to the body. Kallstrom pulls guard. Budiman avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Budiman pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kallstrom is keeping the position for now. Budiman sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kallstrom's guard. Kallstrom trying to control from the bottom.
Budiman has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Budiman throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Kallstrom is looking for a sweep. Budiman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Budiman is pressing down on Kallstrom's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kallstrom is holding on for now. Kallstrom is looking for a sweep. Budiman seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kallstrom does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Kallstrom pushes Budiman off looking to stand but Budiman dives back in and keeps control.
Budiman lands strikes from half guard. Budiman trying to mount his opponent but Kallstrom defends it. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kallstrom can do anything to dispel that myth. Kallstrom is trying to control but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Budiman is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Kallstrom has managed to free his arm - good work. Kallstrom is looking to escape. Kallstrom really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Budiman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Budiman is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Budiman is breathing heavily. Budiman is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Budiman throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Kallstrom wants to control but Budiman is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Budiman drives through and clinches with Kallstrom against the cage.
Kallstrom is defending well against a takedown attempt. Kallstrom has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Budiman clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Budiman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Budiman looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Budiman covering up well and avoiding damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Budiman trying to control the hands but Kallstrom won't let him. Kallstrom has good solid back control here. Kallstrom looking for the choke from the back. Can Budiman hold on?! Kallstrom is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. I really don't envy Budiman right now.
Kallstrom has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Budiman has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kallstrom keeps control of the position easily here as Budiman tries to buck him off.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that David Budiman will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Kallstrom clinches. Kallstrom pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Budiman leaning against his opponent.
Kallstrom drags the fight down to the ground.
Kallstrom is looking to stand up but Budiman isn't so interested in that idea. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kallstrom is on top in guard.

Kallstrom has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Budiman is proving hard to escape from. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kallstrom won't allow Budiman to sweep him here. Kallstrom is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kallstrom is continuing to stall. Budiman throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Budiman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Budiman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kallstrom gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Kim Kallstrom has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kallstrom throwing strikes but missing. Kallstrom lands a couple of elbows. Kallstrom stays in close to Budiman's body and controls the position. Budiman avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Budiman is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Budiman looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Budiman tries to close the distance and clinch but Kallstrom swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Kallstrom gets the takedown into side control. Kallstrom advances to full mount. Kallstrom controlling from the full mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Budiman is looking to improve his position but Kallstrom isn't that keen on the idea. Kallstrom blocks Budiman's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Kallstrom wants to get back to his feet but Budiman is holding on tight.

Budiman sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Budiman trying to control from the bottom.
Kallstrom tries to stand and escape but Budiman is controlling the position. Kallstrom has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Kallstrom with a couple of short strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! Kallstrom looking to control and managing it successfully. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Budiman keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Kallstrom is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Budiman can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kim Kallstrom showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Kallstrom is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Kallstrom is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Kallstrom is thwarting Budiman's attempts to control the position. Kallstrom trying to mount his opponent but Budiman defends it. Kallstrom looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Budiman is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kallstrom's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kallstrom's back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kallstrom trying to control the position but Budiman manages to sink in the hooks. Budiman is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Kallstrom is defending well though. Budiman let's go of the attempt for now. Budiman controlling well, preventing Kallstrom from escaping the position.

Kallstrom turns into Budiman and is now in his guard.
Kallstrom keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Budiman's head. Kallstrom drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kallstrom jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kallstrom stays in close to Budiman's body and controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Budiman looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Kallstrom has picked Budiman up and slammed him! Budiman can't keep hold of the triangle and Kallstrom manages to pass to side control! Budiman takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Kallstrom landing strikes. Budiman is being controlled here. Budiman struggling a bit here. Kallstrom moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Budiman prevents Kallstrom from improving position. Budiman being controlled for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kallstrom has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Kallstrom clinches. Budiman misses with a knee to the head. A short uppercut from Kallstrom. Kallstrom jumps guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kallstrom keeping full guard, as Budiman tries to pass. Kallstrom wants to sweep here but Budiman controlling him for the moment. Kallstrom throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
And that's the end of the fight! Kim Kallstrom comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Kallstrom has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
