Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lance Wright (ranked 3955 p4p, 3155 weight class) and Loltez Reno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Loltez Reno is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lance Wright!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Loltez Reno!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Reno getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Jab from Reno.
Horrible takedown attempt by Wright or perhaps it was just good defense by Reno, which made it look bad.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Wright.
Reno drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Wright defends it well.
Reno throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Reno lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Wright drives through with a takedown into Reno's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wright prevents Reno from getting back to his feet.
Reno has a closed guard, preventing Wright from standing up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wright sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Reno's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wright stalling away here and it's allowed Reno to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Reno can't keep his opponent in guard - Wright advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Wright in particular looking to stall.
Wright is keen to just control but Reno is a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Reno moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Wright stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Reno swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Wright drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wright jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Wright forces his way into half guard.
Wright is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Reno!
Wright throws a strike there. Reno manages to avoid it well and slips a leg under to get to half guard.

Reno is trying to control Wright's posture. Wright takes advantage of the lull and advances to side control. He also appears to have an arm triangle here! Uh oh, big trouble for Reno! Wright is rotating here... this could be the end... Reno is out! Wright has ended this one emphatically! Great submission!
