This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the middleweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 27 wins and 16 losses; Jisoo Oh! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 110 wins and 61 losses; Jackson Ramirez! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Oh shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ramirez as he avoids it easily. Ramirez tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Oh defends well and Ramirez ends up having to push Oh into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Oh looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ramirez is fending him off so far but Oh persists. Nope, Ramirez circles away and we're back to standing. Ramirez closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Oh (0) vs (4) Ramirez Ramirez controlling the position. Oh tries to bench press Ramirez off him but Ramirez keeps the position. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Oh is looking to reverse the position. Ramirez tries to move into full mount but can't pass Oh's legs. Ramirez has control of an arm but Oh manages to advance to Ramirez's back! Oh keeps control of the position easily here as Ramirez tries to buck him off.

Oh is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Ramirez lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Oh is looking for a triangle here but Ramirez uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

You can see the frustration on Oh's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Oh is trying to get back to half guard. Oh is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Oh is concentrating on defense, preventing Ramirez from advancing position.

Well,Oh is on his way to losing a decision here. Can he use his experience to pull something off in the closing minutes? Oh won't allow Ramirez to pass to mount. Still in half guard, Ramirez seems content to control. Oh moves into full guard.
Oh keeping moving, preventing Ramirez from controlling successfully. Oh is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ramirez is aware though and is defending well. Oh can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ramirez controls the pace.
That's fourteen minutes gone in the round. Oh had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ramirez defends it easily. Ramirez slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Oh controlling the position. Oh trying to keep a closed guard but Ramirez is proving a slippery customer.
Ramirez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Oh swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ramirez wants to control from the top but Oh keeps moving. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Oh wants to control but Ramirez passes easily into half guard.
