This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 82 wins and 56 losses; Vasiliy Kulik!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Eddie Farnsworth and David Schapiro.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Kulik tries to clinch there but Johnson circles away.

Kulik tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Johnson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Johnson closes the distance and clinches up with Kulik, looking for a takedown. Johnson pushes Kulik against the cage but Kulik circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Johnson is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Kulik still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Kulik has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
