The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armstrong with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling McSofterson to score with a decent uppercut.
Armstrong shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as McSofterson sprawls well. McSofterson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Armstrong gets slowly back to his feet.
McSofterson throws a nice looking combination but Armstrong bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
McSofterson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Armstrong's head.
Armstrong moves out of range as McSofterson strikes.
Softy McSofterson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A right-left combo lands from McSofterson.

It looks like Craig Armstrong has been cut.
McSofterson leaves Armstrong with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Armstrong circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends McSofterson tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Armstrong wins by KO!
