Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Edgar Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Xi Daerji!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daerji fails with the takedown
and Allen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Allen checks a leg kick.
Daerji works the jab nicely.
Daerji closes the distance looking to clinch
and Allen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Daerji throws a body shot but no joy.
Allen avoids a punch combination nicely.
Allen throwing a counter right hand but Daerji manages to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Daerji misses with a takedown attempt
and Allen counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Edgar Allen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Daerji.
As Daerji looks to move away, Allen throws a big counter combo but Daerji just gets out of the way.
Edgar Allen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xi Daerji.
Allen circles away from the clinch attempt.
A head kick by Daerji misses
enabling Allen to counter with a crisp jab.
Daerji misses with a kick to the body
and Allen counters with a huge left! Daerji is in big trouble! He's backing up but Allen isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Daerji from any more damage. A dominating finish by Allen!
