The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Ben Watson and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pierre dodges the punch combination from Okafor.
Okafor uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Pierre .
Okafor moves into range and clinches up with Pierre .
Okafor keeps control of Pierre as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Pierre blocks a body shot from Okafor.
Okafor lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Pierre backwards.
It looks like Jacques Pierre has been cut.
Okafor has Pierre pressed against the ropes, preventing Pierre from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Okafor prevents Pierre from breaking the clinch.
Okafor just leaning against Pierre , taking a breather.
Okafor can't find room to land a body shot as Pierre controls the action.
Pierre wants to break free but Okafor has control.
Pierre has had enough of the clinch but Okafor keeps him there for the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pierre just misses with a punch to the body.

A little jabbing left from Pierre on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Jacques Pierre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Okafor scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Okafor ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Pierre throws a body punch but Okafor moves out of range.
Okafor is looking to counter punch.
Okafor is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
The cut above Jacques Pierre 's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pierre walks straight into a right hand from Okafor - that's dropped him! Okafor jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Pierre from any more punishment! Pierre complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Moses Okafor tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
