Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Chunks (ranked 1975 p4p, 3194 weight class) and Booger Magee (ranked 232 p4p, 362 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Chunks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Booger Magee!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Chris Dean and Darius Henderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magee throws out a loose jab but Chunks uses good head movement to avoid it.
Magee misses with the combination.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Magee enables Chunks to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Magee manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Magee is trying to keep Chunks in close.
Magee wants to sweep but no luck.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Chunks's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Magee not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Magee stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Magee lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Chunks closes this distance looking for a takedown but Magee circles away.
Chunks tries to score a power double leg takedown but Magee sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Chunks somewhat.
Magee throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Magee will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Magee manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

This has been an exciting period of action!

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Magee in particular looking to stall.

Chunks takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Magee scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Chunks looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Magee is fending him off so far but Chunks persists. Nope, Magee circles away and we're back to standing.

Magee closes the distance and clinches.

Chunks is pushing Magee up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Chunks is trying to drag Magee to the mat but Magee just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.

Chunks shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Magee as he jumps to the side.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Magee is pushing down on Chunks's leg trying to pass to half guard. Chunks is fighting to maintain full guard but Magee has managed to sneak the leg through.

Magee gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Magee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Magee throws a series of punches but Chunks moves out of range.

Booger Magee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Magee pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Chunks back to the ropes. Magee follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Magee rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chunks moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Chunks is nestled in close to Magee, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
