Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sonny Shine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Not Ponor!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Ponor stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
We've been informed that Ponor has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Ponor misses with a few strikes there.
Shine fires out a quick counter leg kick but Ponor just manages to avoid it.
Ponor throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A counter left hand to the body from Shine misses its target.
Shine throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Ponor counters with a crisp right hand that drops Shine! Ponor lets Shine back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Shine is rocked!
It looks like Sonny Shine has been cut.
Shine has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Shine ducks into an uppercut from Ponor and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Not Ponor!

Sonny Shine was interviewed post fight and said 'I'm sorry mom and dad. Please don't make me go back in the hole.'.
