The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alexandrov Jr shoots for a double leg takedown but Yamazaki sprawls well. He's pushed Alexandrov Jr's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Alexandrov Jr shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Yamazaki is trying to defend but Alexandrov Jr finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Alexey Alexandrov Jr tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
