Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Higanti Libat (ranked 23283 p4p, 23543 weight class) and Way Nada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Higanti Libat has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 43 - 66 - 6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Higanti Libat! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 55 - 57 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Way Nada! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Nada goes for a double leg but Libat avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Libat continues to drive forward. Libat looking to score a takedown here. Nada is defending well but Libat drives through and ends up in Nada's guard. Nada lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Libat is pulling down on Nada's head to control his posture. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Libat working a defensive guard here.
Libat thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nada seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Libat working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Nada doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Nada manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Libat controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Nada stays in close to Libat's body and controls the position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Nada throws a big right hand that misses.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nada looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Libat! Nada tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Libat defending against the ground and pound. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Libat holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage. Libat seems a little lost for a moment, as Nada dominates the positioning. It looks like Nada might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Nada shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Libat is trying to defend but Nada finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Way Nada dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Nada shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Libat manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Nada slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Way Nada has got the better of the ground game so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nada distracts Libat with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's one minute gone in the round. Libat working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Nada. Nada controlling from the top position. Nada looking to pass the guard. Nada has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Nada slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Libat pulls Nada in close to prevent any damage.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nada is defended easily by Libat. And Libat counters with a quick kick to the body but Nada blocks it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nada has a takedown stuffed. Nada looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Libat is fending him off so far but Nada persists. Nope, Libat circles away and we're back to standing. Higanti Libat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Way Nada. Nada drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Libat is pulling down on Nada's head to control his posture. Nada trying to control but Libat is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Libat is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Nada engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Libat is pulling down on Nada's head. It's preventing any offense from Nada, at least for the moment. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Way Nada showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round! Libat stuffs the takedown. Libat appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Libat shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nada but Nada pushes him off and we're back to square one. Nada follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Libat misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Libat closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Nada to the mat! Nada manages to get full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Libat trying to control but Nada is working from the bottom. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Nada holds on and takes a little breather. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Nada not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Libat controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Nada looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Libat!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nada content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Libat managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Nada.
You can see the frustration on Libat's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The referee asks Nada politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Nada prefers to stall for the moment though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Nada wants to control but Libat is keeping him busy. Nada in side control, just content to control the action for now. Higanti Libat has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Way Nada is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Libat struggling a bit here.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
And that's the end of the fight! Way Nada comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Nada winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
