Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Freddy Kruger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Hamill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Frank Hamill! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hamill drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Kruger has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Hamill off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Hamill scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Hamill scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Kruger to see if he's OK. Hamill working away. Hamill goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Kruger has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Hamill but great work by Kruger. Kruger staying calm. Kruger stands up and we're back to a striking position. Hamill throws a series of punches but Kruger moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kruger bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Kruger lands a decent elbow from side control. Kruger trying to control the action but Hamill is working from the bottom. Hamill tries to get back to half guard but can't. Kruger working away. Hamill tries to improve position but can't. It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Kruger gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Hamill makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Kruger is breathing heavily.

Kruger misses with a takedown and Hamill counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Kruger shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Hamill counters with a nice double leg into half guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Freddy Kruger. That's going to take a lot out of him. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kruger tries to roll over but Hamill keeps him under control. Hamill has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Kruger is in all sorts of trouble here.

Kruger is pressing down on Hamill's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Kruger working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hamill doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hamill manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kruger controlling the position. Kruger keeping moving, preventing Hamill from controlling successfully.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hamill fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Hamill misses with a takedown and Kruger counters with a nice body kick.
Kruger closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Hamill is trying to get back to half guard. Hamill sneaks back into half guard. Hamill is looking to get back to full guard here but Kruger has managed to pass to side control instead. Freddy Kruger overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kruger trying to control but he's not successful this time. A nice elbow there by Kruger.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kruger has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Hamill's face.
Kruger lands a big shot there that rocks Hamill but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Hamill really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kruger. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kruger looking to control but Hamill is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Kruger dominating with strikes here. Hamill tries to lock up and control but Kruger gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Kruger trying to control but Hamill is having none of it. Kruger working the ground and pound effectively.

Hamill forces his way into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hamill is trying to control the action in half guard but Kruger is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Kruger is looking to improve his position.
Nice strikes from Hamill there. Hamill thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kruger's head. Hamill seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Freddy Kruger dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hamill wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Hamill tries to get back to half guard but can't.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Hamill tries for a takedown but Kruger circles away easily and Kruger counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Kruger decides to return to a standing position. Hamill pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Kruger shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kruger was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Hamill tries to hold on but Kruger pushes him away. Kruger sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Kruger is landing with some decent strikes but Hamill is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kruger putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Hamill slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Kruger tries to pass to full mount but Hamill defends it. Hamill wants to control but Kruger is keeping busy.
Hamill is trying to keep from getting into a worse position than he's already in but Hamill is working away and isn't letting himself get tied up. Hamill on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Hamill is trying to get back to full guard. Kruger stalling.

Kruger lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Hamill hang on? Kruger is standing up, even though he is in mount. Hamill doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kruger counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Hamill!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hamill wants to control but Kruger is having none of it. Kruger controlling the pace for now. Hamill wants to hold on but Kruger pushes him away. Hamill is trying desperately to improve position. Kruger trying to control but he's not successful this time. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kruger controlling his opponent.
