The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Toehold shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Petersen as he avoids it easily. Toehold shoots in looking for a takedown. Petersen tries to sprawl out of it but Toehold keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Petersen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Toehold looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Conald Petersen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Toehold. Toehold is trying hard to land a takedown here. Petersen sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Toehold shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Petersen but Petersen pushes him off and we're back to square one. Petersen shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Toehold manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Toehold for as long as he can get away with. Toehold keeping full guard, as Petersen tries to pass.
