Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Liam Richardson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jim Cowen!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cowen tries to clinch but Richardson moves out of range.

Richardson takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Cowen stuns Richardson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Richardson sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Richardson. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Well Cowen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
