Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montoya fails to land with a series of punches.
Stokes takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Stokes throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
A nice side step and Montoya releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
A punch combination from Montoya misses.
Stokes takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Montoya lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Stokes has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Stokes and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Stokes throws a chopping leg kick but Montoya manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Montoya is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Stokes displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Montoya throws out the jab.

Stokes swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Montoya lands a really nice looking cross but Stokes seems unphased.

Montoya takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Montoya looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Montoya is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Stokes.
Stokes throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Montoya stumbling backwards into the cage! Montoya bounces back off the cage towards Stokes, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Stokes lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Stokes celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
