Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Nikolai Magomedov (ranked 21700 p4p, 2146 weight class) and Fester Adams (ranked 213 p4p, 144 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Magomedov looks to score with a jab to the body but Adams is just out of range.
Magomedov punishes Adams 's body with a nice straight punch.

Adams walks into a straight right hand and goes down! Magomedov rushes to a neutral corner so the count doesn't get delayed but Adams has made it back to his feet on 5. He's OK so we're back to the action.

It looks like Fester Adams has been cut.
Adams has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Magomedov moves out of range of the body kick.
Adams throws out a loose jab but Magomedov uses good head movement to avoid it.
Magomedov is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Magomedov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Adams looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Magomedov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Adams moves away.
Adams throws a fast counter high kick but Magomedov manages to duck under it in time.
Adams throws a hook but Magomedov blocks it.
Magomedov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Adams misses with a lunging right hand
and Magomedov counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
A combination from Adams does no damage.
Adams has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Adams there as he acknowledges the shot.

Adams pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Magomedov tries to clinch up but Adams circles away and keeps his distance.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Magomedov creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Adams is looking to control Magomedov's arms but Magomedov gets an underhook and turns him. Now Adams has his back to the cage.

Magomedov tries to stall but Adams uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
