Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dong Hyun Ma!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Salter JR!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Ivan Kurochkin and Igor Prikhodko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ma throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around JR's waist but JR gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ma off to one side.

JR moves into the clinch successfully.
Ma stops a takedown attempt from JR.
Ma is trying to work for a single leg takedown but JR pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Ma is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dong Hyun Ma. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ma creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Ma is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but JR is defending well.

Ma lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
JR crunches a lovely knee into Ma's ribcage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
JR lands an elbow that stopped Ma in his tracks for a moment.

It looks like Dong Hyun Ma has been cut.
JR throws a knee to the head but misses.
JR should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Ma blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

JR has hold of one of Ma's legs. Ma is fighting the takedown attempt but JR gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Ma on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ma tries to get out of the position.

JR is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ma is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Ma is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Rising Sun Training that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
