The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Owen throws a shot from downtown. Frehley moves away and avoids it.
Frehley misses with an uppercut. Owen saw that one coming.
Owen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Frehley appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Frehley throws a right hand that misses
and Owen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Juice Frehley has been cut.
Owen changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Frehley lands the left hand.

It looks like Sam Owen has been cut.
Frehley throws the left hand but Owen avoids the punch easily.
Frehley swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Owen darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Owen cracks Frehley with a big right hand and Frehley goes down!

This has been an exciting period of action!
Owen is pushing down on Frehley's leg trying to pass to half guard. Frehley is fighting to maintain full guard but Owen has managed to sneak the leg through.
Owen tries to pass to full mount but Frehley defends it.
Owen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Frehley keeps working.

Still in half guard, Owen seems content to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Frehley is staying active underneath Owen, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Owen seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Frehley has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Owen escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Owen!
Owen wants to control but Frehley is keeping him busy.
Owen cracks Frehley with a big elbow.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Owen in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Frehley scores with a body shot.
Juice Frehley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Owen wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Frehley pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
A slow jab from Frehley misses its intended target.
Frehley lands a nice shot to the body.
Owen looks winded!

Juice Frehley is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Frehley tries a low kick but Owen avoids it.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

No joy there for Owen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Frehley swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Frehley scores with a shot to the body.
Owen gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Frehley gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
